Data Export Needs Made Easy

By: William Potter

Databases are becoming an increasingly important tool in modern businesses today. Whether you are using the database to keep track of catalog items, accounts receivable, or any other number of pieces of data using these databases makes keeping track of your information easier and more convenient. However, there may come a time when you need to have that information from your database available in an easier to understand format.

Reasons for Problems

If you’ve ever tried to manipulate or analyze information in a database, represent it in the human-readable formats like HTML, you’ve probably realized how challenging this can be. Database information simply isn’t formatted in a way that is easy to comprehend. Instead, it’s usually used to organize information for use with other tools, such as web pages. While that works most of the time, you’ll probably find times in your work life that accessing that information in an easy-to-understand format would be a great idea. But getting that easy-to-review format isn’t easy usually.

This is going to require data export. What this means is the information is transferred into another format, such as text or XML. That sounds like an easy thing to accomplish, especially since many databases have a data export function built-in.

Because the database information can be formatted in a complex manner, this won’t necessarily be easy to capture in the new format. For example, you might export the data into a text file and not have the information formatted appropriately after the export. And poorly formatted data isn’t going to be any easier for you to read in the long run.

The Solution

A better option is to use software such as FlySpeed Data Export ( http://www.activedbsoft.com/overview-dataexport.html ). This software provides easy and convenient data export from a wide range of databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and more. Other databases, such as Firebird and dBASE, are also supported. You can export the data into a large number of different file formats, such as CSV, TXT, XML, RTF, and HTML. You can also export the data into Microsoft programs, including Excel, Access, or Word.

With FlySpeed Data Export ( http://www.activedbsoft.com/overview-dataexport.html ), the software actually examines the information in the database and extracts it from the database then places it into the new format which makes it easier and more convenient for you to read, print, or present. The software automatically does this for you without you having to do anything else. It’s the easiest way to get the information you need into the most readable and usable format possible.

Now if you need to export that data on a regular basis, you can use the program to make things even easier on yourself. The program includes a Task Scheduler so you can set up automatic exports so that you can regularly export the information into the desired format for your convenience. More complex automatic scheduling is also available through the software.

With FlySpeed Data Export, you’ll also benefit from a program that is designed to work with almost any size database, including the very large ones, and is optimized for the highest performance possible without taking up too much of your computer’s memory and causing slowdown on the entire system.

Microsoft Hyper-V R2The virtualization stakes are increasingly, with the launch by Microsoft of the final part of its Hyper-V Server 2008 provides R2, just days before the conference arch rival VMware year begins.

Here’s my big family. we had a nice dinner last night at Grandma. God i love Ramadhan..

Bukan Hanya Ilmu, Namun Juga Kebijaksanaan

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Subhanallah.

Create a Website to Be Successful in Your Business, or Just for Fun

By: Alan Friedman

There are a lot of people out there that want to build a website. To go along with that, there are a lot of different reasons for a person to want to build a website. These reasons can range from marketing, to social networking, to personal reasons. Originally the internet wasn’t intended for personal pages but in spite of that the popularity of the personal webpage has skyrocketed beyond belief. You will see all sorts of things out there, from webpages about a person’s life, to a person’s cat. It all depends on what they want, and because of that there is no limit to what you will see.

Since you are just starting you probably want to build a basic website, and there are a number of ways that you can go about doing that. The methods range from easy to hard, and whatever you choose will mostly depend on how much work you actually want to do.The first method you can use to build a website of course is to code the HTML yourself. Thought his may sound difficult it really is not, in fact you can just pick up a few books and learn a few basic pieces of HTML which will help you greatly in your quest to build the perfect webpage. While there are literally hundreds of different variables in the base HTML language, you just have to learn a few of them to make an effective webpage.

There are a few others which include the ability to create tables within your HTML, and as you get more advanced you may even learn to do image mapping. Image mapping is where you are able to separate an image into sections and the user will be able to click on each part to open a different link. That is a very advanced piece of coding though, and you shouldn’t feel bad if you can’t do something like that right away.

Another way to create a webpage is to use one of the many available site builders. There are tons of these out there, some of them are free and some of them cost quite a bit of money. You might be happy with one of the free versions, but if you want some very intuitive and easy to use tools you will probably have to put down a bit of money at some point.

Some of the features in the high end website builders may be help resources to teach you how to build a website, and there will even be some features that you won’t find in any other website builder. Proprietary features might be flash buttons, flash animations, and Microsoft’s editors even have a few features that you won’t find anywhere else. Despite that all of these still permit you to write the website in pure HTML if you so desire, but be warned that most of them will still insert their own headers in the HTML regardless.

It’s not difficult to build a website, but it does take a little bit of learning and a lot of planning if you want to get the most out of the effort. Always remember that there is going to be a lot more to learn, so keep an open mind. Once you get the hang of this however, you’ll be able to make all kinds of websites and you’ll wonder why you had such a hard time with it!

Choosing The Right Web Design Company For Your Needs

By:

Whether you’re in the business of advertising widgets, soliciting volunteers, or building your brand awareness, a carefully executed internet marketing strategy
Can reap a tremendous return on your time and money. So that’s why the people are making, and updating their business websites according to the time and technology.

Depending on your web design funds and your needs. The first thing you need to do is determine your goals and objectives.

Specifically:
* Who is your target audience?
* How will your target audience locate your website?
* What do you want them to do once they’re there?
* How will updates be made to the site?
* What is your timeline?
* What kind of return on investment do you expect from the site and how will you gauge it?

Creating your web site can be a tricky process. Choosing the best web design company for your site is enormously crucial. Now it’s time to find the right web design company for your needs. Go to Google and search for web design firms and you will see how many results show. Start at the first web design result and work your way down.

Examine the portfolio to distinguish if there is anything equivalent to the web design blueprint you are imagining. You will be able to tell immediately if this web design organization is suitable for your company and its look and feel. Find out if they have the staff accessible to work on your complete web design needs and that they know the programming required to complete the job in a timely manner.

Ask for references, a top end web design firm will be glad to offer up references on the web design work performed. Most web design references will be glad to chat to you about the quality job your potential web design company did on their web site.

When searching for a company, there are a few fundamental questions to consider:

  • Does the company’s portfolio display the kind of aesthetic that you are looking for?

  • Does the company work with clients in your industry? Have they previously produced a site similar to what you want in scope and function?

  • Were they receptive to your query, or did it take them four days to return your call? Were they friendly and cooperative and take time to find out about your company and your needs?

  • What kinds of guarantees do they offer for their products? What kind of support is available? Do they have a thorough testing process? What are the conditions of the contract and who owns the final design, source code, and intellectual property?

Now that you’ve found a couple of different companies, and have a couple of proposals in hand, you’ll want to take some time to compare them carefully and check references. Call several of the company’s clients and ask the following questions:

  • Did the company meet your goals and objectives?
  • Did they follow up after the launch, or disappear once the check was cashed?
  • Does the site function properly?
  • Are you happy with the design?
  • What does your target audience think of the design and functionality?
  • Did you get the return on investment that you were expecting?

A Professional Web Design Agency may cost more in the short term but you are trying to satisfy your potential customers, so you must take into account, when it comes to your business and your companies exposure on internet, take your time to find a good web design company. Your future may depend on it.

Hidden Object Games Review

By: Julia Aidan

It is obvious that people who love to play games fervently, will know about hidden object games. Dissimilar to the shooters, adventure, and strategy games, which have been achieving recognition in the last few years, the hidden objects games seem to have taken the back seat, however they are so far an amazing fun to play and tremendously famous.

As you might have guessed by now in most of these games you will have to search for hidden objects. The way this happens vary from game to game – in some instances you will continuously get several clues throughout the game, this will help you get all the items that you are looking for. In almost all games though you are given a full list of all the hidden objects at the beginning and then you go from one place to another unearthing as many of them as you possibly can.

A few of these exquisite casual games have an interesting plan and you are obliged to solve a huge mystery or discover new surroundings, most of them are based on famous books or happen in huge deserted citadels and mansions. While searching for hidden objects you have to pass through several strange locations like you will have to dive into oceans, fly over continents, land yourself in dark caves and sometimes meet amusing and anomalous buddies. The array is endless, however generally all hide and seek games (another name for the hidden object games) will check your detective talents and the proficiency to focus on particulars. In many of them you will be playing against the clock, so quick thinking will really help. And so will speed up mouse clicking as this is how you “find” an item – you click on it, it disappears and now you go, searching for the next one.

Most of these alluring games have added very unique twist to the simple concept – you may be asked to find the hidden objects in systematic order if you want to advance further – for example, you may need to search a key so as to open a box, in which you get another item. Then, along the way you might be given a few bonuses and hefty rewards for being a great player and in some cases you will get to play a mini game within the game itself.

In majority of cases the graphics of the hidden object games are actually great, the colors are vibrant (unless you are in a jail), the music is delightful and the plan is thrilling. And since they are becoming more and more popular by the day, many websites offer free trial downloads, where you can play the game for a limited amount of time and if you happen to love it, then you can consider buying the full version. And the nice news is that in a lot of cases the hidden object games are very low charged and no matter what your choice, rest confirmed that you can get a game that you will enjoy extremely – you can be a pirate, searching for the lost wealth, a 19th century pipe-smoking spy agent trying to solve a tough murder mystery, an FBI agent following goons all over L.A., or even an determined smart lady trying to start her career in the world of fashion.

Author Resource:-> Article written by an editor of Free Downloadable Games – an exciting gaming site, which offers hundreds of hidden object games and publishes articles that will keep you updated on the latest gaming news. The Basics of Cloud Computing

By: Groshan Fabiola
Everyone is looking to the skies for the next wave of Internet success stories. Why? Cloud computing! Don’t be afraid. Cloud computing is simply the next logical step for software development. It’s all about scalability.

One of the biggest obstacles for most companies is technology. Computer hardware and software is extremely expensive. Locating and retaining people who know how to manage both is also expensive. Cloud computing removes these obstacles by networking your computers with other computers to process data. Google Docs is one example of how cloud computing works. By reducing your investment in hardware and software, a company can concentrate more on their core business. In other words, you can spend more time doing the things you do best and less time maintaining your computer systems.

It is a simple concept, and no, it was not invented yesterday. In fact, it’s been around for years. It’s more affordable now and more companies are implementing cloud computing because of the cheaper startup costs. There are three ways in which cloud computing can be put to good use.

You can use cloud computing to implement an infrastructure as a service (IaaS), or you can offer software as a service (SaaS), and finally, you can provide a platform as a service (PaaS). SaaS is very attractive because it removes the need for installation and deployment. SaaS also means global accessibility and high affordability. Because SaaS is online it also helps us to avoid any possible headaches caused by VPN, thus creating more efficient collaborations. When it comes to usability, PaaS and IaaS are more useful to developers and corporations wanting to develop, test, design, troubleshoot, and deploy custom applications.

No matter which service you implement, the key advantages are you eliminate the need to download software to your computers. You also eliminate the need to buy more hardware and you no longer need an IT department. Instead, you simply need a terminal and a good Internet connection. It’s that easy! So if you want to know what’s next in computing, look to the clouds.

More prays on Ramadhan, i have to admit it, this Ramadhan i haven’t work hard for gain Allah’s blessing. Have mercy upon us, Lord

(284) To Allah belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth. Whether ye show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah Calleth you to account for it. He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and punisheth whom He pleaseth, for Allah hath power over all things.

(285) The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. “We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles.” And they say: “We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys.”

(286) On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) “Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith.”

“Kejahatan” Saya Selama Bulan Puasa

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Saya inget, dulu waktu masih kecil… saya sering melaksanakan puasa setengah hati. Namanya jg anak2, jd belum terlalu ngerti puasa itu tujuannya utk apa. Jd kalo disuruh puasa sama ortu, biasanya sih cuma di depan mereka aja. Hihihi… Di belakangnya? Jangan tanya! Mau tau apa saja “kejahatan” saya selama bulan puasa di saat kecil? Let see..

Dulu di lingkungan tempat saya tinggal, ada seorang anak cewe bernama Chipy yg usianya beberapa tahun di bawah saya. Kebetulan anak2 tetangga yg lain tuh cowo semua. Yg cewe cuma saya, Nieke, dan Chipy. Kabetulan Mama ga terlalu suka saya sering2 main sama anak2 cowo. Lagian, sering berantem jg sama mereka itu. Jd lah kami sering main bertiga. Trus sampe punya markas sendiri gitu. Saingan pula sama markas pondokannya anak2 cowo. Huehehehe… Serulah pokoknya.

Jd kami bertiga suka janjian main di markas lewat telepon. Suatu hari di bulan puasa, saya menelepon Chipy ke rumahnya. Trus entah setan mana yg merasuki tubuh kecil saya *lebay…*, saya ngomong gini ke Chipy, “Eh py, jangan lupa bawa kue dr rumah ya! Nanti kita makan2 di markas. Hihihi…” dan Chipy dgn entengnya berkata, “Sip, kak!”. Ya udah, begitu kami ngumpul *hayah… kayak yg banyak aja anggotanya. :)) * di markas yg terbuat dr kayu2 pepohonan (rumah saya deket hutan), makan2lah kami di sana sampe kenyang. Trus habis makan, tetep aja main kejar2an ke sana ke sini. Sampe rumah, Mama saya heran setengah mati. Ini anaknya 2 orang main sampe keringet2, ga haus apa puasa2 gitu? Hihihi… Mama ga tau aja kalo saya udah buka. :P

Trus ada lg…

Critanya Mama saya kan kerja. Saya sama Nieke suka ditinggalin sama pembantu di rumah. Jd kalo pembantu saya sdg tidur siang, saya sama Nieke suka gantian gitu ngeliatin pembantu saya di kamarnya masih tidur atau udah bangun. Kalo kira2 “aman”, kami berdua buka kulkas dan “nyolong” kurma dr dlm kulkas di dapur! Huahahaha… Pernah sekali ketahuan sama pembantu saya. Trus saya sama Nieke diaduin deh ke Mama. Ya udah, marah besar tuh si Mama. Jd lah besok2 kalo siang2 kulkas saya suka dikunciin dr luar! Huhuhuhu…

Tuh kan, waktu kecil giliran saya disuruh puasa aja, suka ga tahan dan sering nyolong2 makan. Tp gilirannya disuruh makan malah ga pernah habis sampe saya dulu pernah buang nasi makan siang saya ke kandang ayam! Pas ketahuan sama Mama, diomelin deh tuh sampe saya nangis2. Anehnya, ga kapok2. Besok2 tetep aja saya suka buang2 makanan. Huahahaha… Parah dah.

Belum lg kalo disuruh taraweh. Jd critanya dulu guru agama saya suka nugasin murid2nya mencatat ceramah di mesjid kalo taraweh. Dasar saya nya yg emang males, jd saya suka nitipin buku catetan saya ke tante atau pembantu yg nemenin saya taraweh. Sementara saya asyik2an main kembang api di luar mesjid sama temen2. Cuma sempet ikut sholat isya, dengerin ceramah sebentar… trus ya udh, main deh keluar. Jd saya ga ikut sholat tarawehnya. Nah, parahnya pas buku catetan saya diperiksa sama Mama. Mama saya heran, kok tulisannya bisa beda2? Huhuhu… Mama saya jeli banget! Kena setrap deh saya pas ketahuan ga ikut sholat taraweh…

Bagaimana dgn kalian? Pernah punya “kejahatan” apa saja selama bulan puasa? Hayooooooooo ngakuuuuuuuuu… :))
